I was pretty bummed out because I had lost my job a few years ago. The only good thing about it was that I was given a very nice severance package that did include some educational help as well. I knew that I would have enough to live on if I did not go too crazy with my spending for a couple of years, and that is why I decided that going back to school was in my best interest. I looked at Henderson apartments after being accepted at Touro University in their pharmacy program. I figured if I am going to do this, I may as well do it right.
I wanted to find an apartment that is close to campus because I did not want to have to commute a long way in either direction. I knew that I would be most comfortable in an apartment rather than a home or even a dorm. I did a quick online search for apartment complexes that are close to Touro University, and that is how I was able to learn all about the apartments at Villa Serena. Just looking at the pictures made me think that it was too rich for my blood at first, but I am glad that I delved deeper.
The prices were not as high as I expected, which both shocked and delighted me. I knew that I would be able to afford there while attending the university, and that I would be able to focus on studying rather than working. Like I said, the severance package I received was extremely generous. I thought it would be scary starting a new phase of my life like this, but the only thing I am really feeling is excitement. The apartment I live in is great, the people living around me are wonderful, and I am close to graduating with honors now.
